Fair Play
The Fair Play Rules are an integral part of the ATTP Regulations and a primary condition for membership in the National Association, as well as a cooperation agreement with a participant in professional sports events.
All participants in sporting events under the auspices of the ATTP must adhere to the following principles:
- compliance with the rules and regulations of table tennis approved by the ATTP;
- showing respect for your opponents, judges, coaches and visitors to a sporting event;
- play honestly and do not use prohibited methods or deception to achieve victory;
- be incorruptible and not accept any kind of reward for manipulating the results of a sporting event.
Violation of these principles will result in disciplinary action, including disqualification, expulsion from ATTP membership or loss of the status of an honest athlete, with the person's details displayed on the “Scoreboard of Shame”. In some cases, a person may be subject to criminal or administrative liability.
One of the main objectives of the National Association of Professional Table Tennis Players of the Republic of Moldova (ATTP) and other partner sports organizations is to promote the principle of Fair Play, integrity in sports and the integrity of the athlete. To achieve this goal, the ATTP, in collaboration with partners and relevant international organizations, conducts educational programs and information campaigns that emphasize the importance of these principles and the need to prevent corruption in sports.
