The MASTERS ATTP 2026 Final – The Duel of the Table Tennis Titans from the Republic of Moldova

The sports arena witnessed one of the most intense and spectacular moments of the competitive season: the final of the MASTERS ATTP 2026 tournament, an elite competition that for the third consecutive year brings together the TOP 18 strongest table tennis players from the Republic of Moldova.

The event took place under the aegis of the National Association of Professional Table Tennis Players (ATTP), with the support and backing of the Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Moldova. It is considered one of the four major events of the sports season — decisive competitions in the process of forming the national team selection for the following year.

Throughout the tournament, the country’s most valuable players delivered high-level technical matches for the public. However, the highlight of the competition was the grand final, which pitted two of the current leaders of Moldovan table tennis against each other: Denis ȚERNA and Veniamin DUBROVIN, both members of the Republic of Moldova national team that has qualified for the 2026 Table Tennis World Championships in London.

The final was extremely balanced and tense, featuring spectacular rallies and dramatic turnarounds right up to the last set. In a highly intense duel decided at the very limit, Veniamin DUBROVIN managed to prevail with a score of 3:2, once again demonstrating the excellent sporting form he is currently enjoying.

This victory confirms the athlete’s impressive series of results. In the previous month he also won the “Federation Cup 2026” tournament, further consolidating his position among the leaders of table tennis in the Republic of Moldova.

The triumph at MASTERS ATTP 2026 secures Veniamin DUBROVIN a place in the Republic of Moldova’s national selection for the 2027 competitive season. However, the sporting rivalries are far from over.

In just over a week, on the same sports arena, the public will be able to watch a new chapter in the top confrontations of Moldovan table tennis. The champions and vice-champions of recent years — Vladislav Ursu and Andrei Puțuntică — will step onto the court to defend their titles, promising yet another spectacle of the highest sporting level.

Thus, the MASTERS ATTP tournament continues to confirm its role as the supreme platform of performance in Moldovan table tennis, where the very best measure their strength for glory, trophies, and a place in the national team.
