ATTP Super Cup – Winter 2026: High-Level Spectacular Matches in Chișinău and Memorable Victories

The Republican table tennis tournament Super Cup ATTP – Winter 2026, held in the municipality of Chișinău from February 21 to 22, 2026, brought together more than one hundred senior athletes, amateurs, and professionals from the Republic of Moldova and abroad, once again confirming the scale and appeal of this competitive format.

 

The Main Cup of the 2026 winter stage was won by Master of Sports Denis TERNA, a member of the national team of the Republic of Moldova, which qualified for the World Championship in London. In a final marked by high sporting intensity, he played two exceptionally challenging matches against recognized masters Evgheni DADECHIN and Veniamin DUBROVIN, managing to secure a confident victory and climb to the top step of the podium. Second place was taken by Evgheni Dadechin, while the bronze medal went to Veniamin Dubrovin.

 

In Group A, the victory was claimed by athlete Alexandr GASHLAMA from Copceac, followed by Alexandr SOLODCHII, who won the silver medal, while the bronze was awarded to Stanislav CASAPCIUC.

 

Group B was won by Ukrainian athlete Yaroslav VEREMIICHUK, who in a lengthy match and long-awaited rematch defeated Petru CAPBATUT. The bronze medal was claimed by Alexei ROTARI.

 

In Group C, the group favorite Vsevolod DUBROVIN confirmed his status and secured first position on the podium. This victory brought him important points in the overall ranking, opening real prospects for promotion to Group B or even A in future editions of the tournament. The silver medal was won by young debutant Mihail BACIMANOV, while the bronze medal went to athlete Ilia NICIC from Balti, whom referees consider one of the favorites of future Super Cup ATTP editions.

 

In Group D, first place was taken by Alexandr DUPLII, second place and the silver medal went to Stefan TANURCOV, while the bronze medal was won by Ukrainian athlete Nazar KUZIN.

 

In Group E, the final qualifying group, victory went to Maxim BURAVTOV, the silver medal was awarded to Alexandru BULAT, and the bronze to Mihail MIDORI, following a performance highly appreciated by the public and the referees.

 

The Super Cup ATTP – Winter 2026 edition once again confirmed the high level of table tennis in the Republic of Moldova, the positive dynamics of the national ranking, and the growing interest of athletes in well-organized, competitive, and result-oriented tournaments.

 

At the same time, for their continuous contribution to the promotion and popularization of table tennis in the Republic of Moldova, the National Association of Professional Table Tennis Players awarded Golden Diplomas to athletes Evgheni Cilcic (Comrat), Mihail Copusciu (Copceac), Olexandr Yavorskiy, and Alexandr Cosogolov (Chisinau).

 

In addition, Alexandr Cosogolov was recognized as Player of the Year 2025, an honorary title awarded by the SETKA Cup (UA) project in recognition of his sporting achievements, competitive consistency, and active participation in the development of the table tennis community.
