General Assembly of the Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Moldova Elects New Leadership and Amends Charter

Chișinău, May 18, 2025 — A landmark event in Moldovan sports: the General Assembly of the Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Moldova has taken place. This gathering, marking a significant step toward the consolidation and reform of the country’s sports movement, brought together 73 members and delegates from across the republic — a record level of participation in the Federation's history.

     During the meeting, participants voted by majority to elect new leadership and introduce amendments to the Federation’s Charter.         This decision strongly reflected the unity and determination of the sports community, demonstrating a firm commitment to modernization and transparency in governance.

     The adopted changes are expected to yield tangible results in the near future. Among the new leadership’s top priorities are the revival of national competitions, support for young talents, attraction of external funding, and development of infrastructure dedicated to table tennis.

Through this unifying act, the Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Moldova demonstrates its commitment to aligning with international standards and taking an active role in promoting sport at the national level.
